The barriers to making and shaping music have completely crumbled. Gone are the days when producing a polished, multi-track song required booking an expensive recording studio or downloading gigabytes of complex, intimidating software. Today, browser-based audio production tools—often called cloud DAWs (Digital Audio Stations) or online audio mixers—allow anyone with an internet connection to mix music right inside a web tab.
